Our home is very unique. It was a custom build from the 1960s' and the HVAC set up that is very hard to understand and confusing for most vendors. We have a hot water boiler that feeds a piping system that is entirely enclosed in the walls of the home. Electric fans are used to blow over coils hidden behind wall vents. You have to routinely "bleed" air out of various units around the home and be aware of valves and other related components. While it has worked reliably for us for the most part over the 5+ years we've lived here, there were several longstanding issues that have completely puzzled other service companies. Dan from HVAC Wurx was able to review the property and determine how to resolve many of these issues! We were able to acquire a reasonably priced annual service agreement and its a great feeling to have him come by twice a year to check over things and ensure it is all operating as it should. In January I had a hot water heater that suddenly became unreliable. It was right before the weekend and freezing out -- not the ideal time of year to be without hot water! I’ve hired a lot of service and repair guys in my 25 years of homeownership.  Daniel was BY FAR the best call I ever made.  He was incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, very fair priced and most of all, gained my absolute trust each time he was here.  He would look at a problem and give us all of the available options and explain the differences thoroughly, and then give the real world expectations for our system and what he would do if it was his own system.   Often it was not the expensive option.  He would guide us to the best solution for our situation.   He also was able to quickly diagnose and fix recurring issues other techs had been unable to. I highly recommend HVACWURX!!  When my furnace wouldn't start, Dan came out and took the time  to properly diagnose the problem instead of just guessing at what was wrong.  His honesty, knowledge, and attention to detail saved me hundreds of dollars compared to another quote I received.

Replacing an original HVAC system is a big hit to the wallet, so I was pretty anxious about getting sold stuff I didn't need or having a sloppy install. We needed a full replacement for our old split gas heat and AC setup, plus a whole-house humidifier added on.

Honestly, Dan and the HVACWurx crew made the whole process easy. Dan actually took the time to figure out what was right for our house instead of pushing expensive extras. The installation went smoothly—they were clean, fast, and did super precise work without leaving a mess behind.
